The moment I started rowing, I fell in love with the sport - not because of its demanding and time-consuming nature, but rather the character, camaraderie, and resilience it taught me. I train nearly 20 hours a week (not counting competitions), and it captivates me completely. Every minute, every drop of sweat, every stroke feels worthwhile.

Water Polo was the first sport I engaged in when I joined The Hill School, joining the team even before I formally enrolled the school. Through pre-season practices, I was able to make good friends on the team and acquaint myself with the community - all of which helped me acclimate to the new environment quickly and smoothly. I love my team and am now happy to pay it forward.

Swimming has been a long-time commitment for me that began in 2nd grade. Even during COVID, I kept swimming at least 6,000 meters every day, nearly 5-6 days a week. Swimming gave me great fundamentals that inspired me to pursue water polo and rowing in later years and join the teams, all while continue pursuing swimming. To me, swimming is not just a way to stay active, work with a team, but it's also a way to serve the community. I am now certified as a lifeguard and am honored to have been offered to serve both The Hill School and our local YMCA.
